About the Commission

Morgantown City Council established a Health and Wellness Commission in 2017.

Purpose

The purpose of the Commission is to advise and recommend to the City Manager and City Council plans, programs, and projects which would improve the health and well-being of City residents. The Commission works to support, promote, and develop community resources in nutrition, physical activity, and community wellness events.
