These projects are short-term that will affect traffic for up to a week or less.
- Hampton Avenue will be closed from Willie Street to Darst Street starting at 9 a.m. on October 13 for hillside mowing and line painting. The project is expected to be finished by noon.
- The Morgantown High School's Homecoming Parade will be taking place on Thursday, October 14 at 6 p.m. Parking will be restricted on High and Prospect Streets beginning at 5 p.m. Traffic will be detoured from Willey Street onto Prospect Street back to University Aveune. Willey Street will be closed at University Avenue. Officers will be at the intersections to assist with traffic.
- The Hops on the Mon will be taking place on Saturday, October 16 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. High Street will be closed from Walnut Street to Pleasant Street from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The left lane of High Street from Wall Street to Walnut Street will be closed with the right lane being used for traffic. Roads will reopen at 4 p.m.
These are major projects that will affect traffic for several weeks or months and may see lane shifts or closures.
