Suspects Arrested Following Armed Robbery

At approximately 4:47 p.m. on Sept. 13, 2018, officers of the Morgantown Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery that just occurred near the 300 block of Madigan Avenue. The suspects were reported as three white males, one carrying a guitar. As officers were responding to the scene, they observed three suspects leaving the area on South High Street with one carrying a guitar.

The suspects were detained and positively identified as having committed the robbery and were found to be in possession of the victim’s personal property as well a knife that was reportedly used during the commission of the crime. The victim reported that one suspect held him down, another held a knife to his throat and the third went through his pockets and took his property.

As officers continued to investigate the incident, they discovered that the victim was reported as a missing and endangered person from Maryland. The victim was classified as endangered do the fact that he was a special needs condition.

Joshua Paul AUSTIN, 26 years of age of Morgantown was arrested and charged with First Degree Robbery and Conspiracy. AUSTIN was also found to have been a fugitive wanted for unrelated charges in Pennsylvania. AUSTIN will be extradited to Pennsylvania at a later time.

Dylan Lee YODERS Jr., 24 years of age of Morgantown was arrested and charged with First Degree Robbery and Conspiracy.

Charles Calvin RALSTON, 23 years of age of Morgantown was arrested and charged with First Degree Robbery and Conspiracy.
