The Morgantown Police Department will conduct a D.U.I. sobriety check point on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018. The location of the check point will be on Beechurst Avenue (Route 19). The check point will be in operation from 5 PM until 11 PM.
Drivers not wanting to pass through the check point may use 6th Street and 8th Street as alternate routes. In case of inclement weather, the check point will be re-scheduled for a later date. This check point was made possible through a grant from the Governor’s Highway Safety Program and the Commission on Drunk Driving Prevention.
