[ARCHIVED] Suspect Wanted for Armed Robbery

At approximately 9:12 p.m. on October 17, 2018, officers of the Morgantown Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Rite Aid Pharmacy located at 381 Patteson Drive. 


Officers found that the suspect, who was described as an approximately 6-foot-tall Black Male weighing approximately 160 pounds, wearing a black in color toboggan, bulky green in color sweatshirt, black in color sweatpants, and armed with a semi-automatic handgun, entered the pharmacy area. The suspect reportedly displayed the handgun and demanded prescription medications.


After the victims provided the suspect the demanded medications, he fled the area on foot to the rear of the shopping center. Detectives of the Morgantown Police Department responded to the scene and processed the scene. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident. The case is currently under investigation.
