Upon arrival, officers discovered a white-tailed deer carcass that had recently been field-dressed. The officers were then able to follow footprints in the snow to a residence on Augusta Avenue where they made contact with Jason Herbert Berk, 18, of Boynton Beach, FL. Further investigation revealed that Berk shot the deer with a compound bow earlier in the night from the front porch of the residence on Augusta Avenue.
