As of May 1, 2012, Morgantown City Council has adopted the Neighborhood/Business Association Recognition Program. This purpose is to establish a recognition program that provides a standardized City recognition policy for Morgantown Neighborhood or Business associations and sets forth the responsibilities and benefits of being a neighborhood group or business group. Click here to open a .pdf of this NBARProgram document.
There are currently nine Neighborhood Associations within the City and one Business Association. However, they must first complete the new recognition criteria before they are officially recognized and shown on the City of Morgantown’s Website. Please continue to check back to see the progress as these groups apply and are recognized as official neighborhood and business associations.
