The City of Morgantown is kicking off a neighborhood-level small area plan for “Study Area No. 2.” The Development Services Department invites the public to the Spruce Street United Methodist Church for a community forum on Thursday, April 27 at 7:00 p.m.
The department will introduce the Comprehensive Plan’s recommended small area planning process, conduct a strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and trends (SWOT) analysis, and develop a vision for North Willey Street, Snyder Street, and Richwood Avenue adjoining the Woodburn Neighborhood. The area includes approximately 700 parcels with around 300 different property owners. The Zoning Districts within this study area include a mix of student rental housing, single-family homes, and business and commercial establishments.
