The Morgantown Historic Landmarks Commission (MHLC) is holding its Fourth Morgantown Area History Roundtable from 6-8:30 p.m. on March 30, 2016 at the Aull Center for Local History & Genealogical Research, 351 Spruce Street, Morgantown.
During previous Roundtables in 2014 and 2015, attendees exchanged information and gave or listened to presentations that focused on current and future history projects in the Morgantown area.
For the Fourth Roundtable, the MHLC has invited Jennifer Brennan, a Structural Historian and CLG Coordinator for the West Virginia State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) in Charleston. Her presentation will focus on Certified Local Governments (CLGs) and their role in community historic preservation efforts.
The evening will have a refreshment time for informal sharing and collaborating. Guests are invited to bring materials, photos or media to illustrate their history projects.
After refreshments, MHLC’s consultants will provide information on our current projects.
If you have questions or suggestions, please e-mail Jeanne Grimm, MHLC member, at email@example.com or call 304-288-6864.
