Digital Media

Granicus: Public Meeting Live & Archived Video

Granicus is the City’s streaming video archive.  It provides meeting videos for all major public meetings that occur in Council Chambers (see Public Meeting Calendar).

Council Connection

The Council Connection is a one-page digital digest of the previous evenings’ Regular City Council and Committee of the Whole meetings.  It includes action taken, who spoke in Public Portion, any shared Proclamations or Correspondence, Presentation videos, and documents that support all documents you’d need, like the agenda and last meeting’s minutes, and supporting documentation for decisions made.  See the archive.

eNewsletters

The City publishes two different newsletters.

  • The Morgantown News – This enewsletter is our widest publication.  It is sent the Friday before a Council meeting to bring you up to speed and prepare you action that Council may take that could affect you.  It includes the last Council Connection, the next Agenda, messages from the City Manager or Department Heads, any news you may have missed from MorgantownWV.gov, and upcoming events.  Sign up.
  • The Neighborhood Newsletter – This enewsletter is sent at the end of each month and gives you specific information that applies to your part of town.  You receive the schedule of upcoming Neighborhood Association meetings and events, Neighborhood Notices (planning or zoning changes that have been requested that may affect businesses, residences, property, development, etc. in your ward), any news you may have missed from MorgantownWV.gov, and upcoming events.  Sign up.
