Transportation

Fly in and visit one of the Best Small Cities in the Country with The Morgantown Municipal Airport (MGW).

Get around town with Mountain Line Transit.  Find route maps and more here, or follow them on Twitter for the latest updates.

Take a trip on one of the country’s most fascinating transit systems – WVU’s PRT, or Personal Rapid Transit.  Situated to get students from one campus to another, it’s a unique way to take a rail tour of the city.

Recreation

Morgantown’s green surroundings lend it to be one of the best locations for outdoor activities, with attractions like the West Virginia Botanic Gardens and the BOPARC Municipal Park System very close to home!

Morgantown has revitalized its Wharf District along the Monongahela River in the last two decades.  It features the Waterfront Place Hotel & Event Center, restaurants, steakhouses and access to more than 10 miles of paved fun in the Caperton Trail and Decker’s Creek Trail systems.
