[ARCHIVED] Arts and Cultural Development Department Receives Awards

Director of Arts and Cultural Development, Vincent Kitch, received not one but two special awards during the Morgantown Magazine Best of Morgantown party.

The first award went to the Ruby Amphitheater for Best Festival, thanks to all of the hard work that went into creating the Ruby Summer Concert Series. The second award went to the Metropolitan Theatre for Best Performing Arts Venue. Along with Vincent, we would like to thank Theatre Director, Joe Kaehler for all of his hard work and dedication to helping bring quality shows to the MET. The City of Morgantown is so glad to be part of such a thriving arts and cultural community thanks in part to both of these men.

The Ruby Amphitheater also received the regional award for Best Fair/Festival/ Event in the Best of West Virginia competition.
