Volunteers are invited to wear blue and gold to show their spirit and support. WVU students looking to earn community service hours can find event opportunities on iServe, the university’s main platform for connecting campus life with local volunteer opportunities.

"The city is excited to welcome WVU student organizations and community groups to join us in this event, bringing together university and city residents in a shared spirit of civic pride and collaboration,” said Lewis. “It's a wonderful opportunity to build connections, make a visible impact, and celebrate the strength of our community through collaborative partnerships."

Shannon Davis, Special Projects Coordinator for the City of Morgantown, also emphasized the importance of community partnerships in sustaining local initiatives.

“We are proud to work alongside community groups to equip them with the support and guidance they need, whether that’s providing supplies, assisting with planning before cleanup projects, or offering help afterward to ensure every effort counts,” Davis said.
