IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to upcoming renovations at Morgantown City Hall, all Morgantown City Council meetings will be held in Monongalia County Commission Chambers located on the second floor of the Monongalia County Building at 243 High Street.

SETTING AND RENEWING GOALS FOR REDUCING GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS

Council reviewed a resolution which would reestablish the City of Morgantown's goals for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, including a 52 percent decrease in emissions by 2030 through implementation of a Climate Action Plan. The resolution would also renew the City's commitment to a 28 percent reduction of greenhouse gas emissions from municipal facilities by 2025.
