To be eligible for the sale of PODA beverages, businesses must be located within the PODA boundary, have a current qualifying ABCA S4 license, obtain their PODA license through the City, be in good standing with the City regarding taxes, fees, licenses, and permits, and comply with all relevant laws and regulations.

Retail businesses within the PODA boundary who wish to allow alcoholic beverages in their establishment are asked to email PODA@morgantownwv.gov to receive a “PODA beverages welcome here” sticker for their storefront.
An official kickoff of Morgantown’s PODA has been scheduled for May 15 at 4 p.m. The kickoff will include guest speakers, a ribbon cutting, and more. Further details will be provided via the City of Morgantown's social media platforms.
