    Morgantown Mosaic is a microgrant program that supports resident-led projects designed to strengthen neighborhood identity, encourage community pride, and improve shared spaces across the city. From public art and beautification to signage, events, and small-scale physical improvements, the program helps bring local ideas to life.

  4. If the project is located on private property, please include a letter from the property owner authorizing your group to complete your project if selected.

    Projects located on city property may require approval from specific department heads.

  5. CONTACT INFORMATION
  6. Project Coordinators must be community members and cannot be paid employees of the City of Morgantown. To maintain fairness and avoid conflicts of interest, Project Coordinators also may not serve on the scoring or selection committee for the project.

  7. The primary applicant must be a resident of a qualified ward located within city limits. To verify your address is located within Morgantown boundaries, please consult the Morgantown City Wards Map

  13. Examples of Impact Measures: 

    Attendance and Participation Tracking, Service Delivery Counts, Membership or Enrollment Data, Distribution of Goods and/or Resources, Referrals and Linkage Data, Reduced Barriers or Improved Access, Outcome-Based Measures, etc.

    Examples of Community Feedback & Satisfaction Measures:

    Short Post-Program Surveys, Community Listening Sessions, Pre- and Post-Surveys, Suggestion Boxes or QR-Code Feedback, Focus Groups, etc.

    Please attach a detailed budget breaking down the costs associated with this project. A basic downloadable expense spreadsheet example can be found HERE.


    List all project expenses. Round figures to the lowest dollar. Include total costs in column A and how grant funds will be allocated in column B.


    In-kind and donated services must be identified as well.
