Purpose
The Morgantown Citizen Police Review and Advisory Board provides for citizen participation in reviewing Police Department policies, practices, and procedures; to promote the availability of data relating to police practices and procedures; and to provide a prompt, impartial, and fair review of misconduct complaints relating to the Morgantown Police Department in a manner which protects the rights of individuals who have contact with the Morgantown Police Department while acknowledging the rights of police officers as established by state law.
Membership
We are currently accepting applications for the Civilian Police Review and Advisory Board. You can apply by clicking here. The Board shall consist of nine members appointed by City Council. Each member shall be a resident of the city or an active member of an organization that works within the city to promote purposes consistent with the purpose of the Board.
